They said it couldn’t be done.
That none would succeed
where others had failed.
I proved them wrong.
Divided the throng.
Like Moses
and The Red Sea.
All down to me.
No divine intervention.
To achieve my intention.
With a wave of one hand.
The crowd did stand
and fanned out.
Parted like a river through a wasteland.
No word did I speak.
Just stood tall and sleek.
Surveyed the massed meek and week.
All the messed up freaks.
As I walked amongst them
and stared them all down.
The hem of my coat dragged behind.
It had all been designed.
So they could see and feel my power.
To make them all cower.
Their hopes and dreams
I would devour.
